Opening this topic for discussion of strategically placing electric wind turbines so as to both provide electric power generation and to minimize the long–term effects on local climate.
Has anyone sat down and mapped out how this could be done?
How would you balance the benefits and detriments to habitability, human and otherwise?
My own thoughts are that this method of producing electrical power should, by its nature, be sparsely distributed and used only for small applications. There are better ways to generate larger amounts of voltage.
